The Kirkwood Group, Inc. opened in February 2001. They offer a broad spectrum of Investment management, Estate, Tax Planning and Retirement Planning services. They pride themselves with professionalism, client service and personal service. They are independent financial advisors, and have a combined 45 years of experience experience in wealth management.

Richard was formerly Vice President and Branch Manager with Advest, Inc; a Vice President and Omega Portfolio Manager with Oppenheimer & Co.; and Vice President and Insurance Product Manager with Smith Barney Harris & Upham after beginning his investment career in 1982 in St. Louis, Missouri. Rich began his investment advisor career in 1981. He is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist and Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist both through the College of Financial Planning. Richard is Registered through VSR Financial Services, Inc., a registered broker/dealer, Member NASD/SIPC, he has the following securities licenses Series 7, 8, 63, 65 and insurance licensed for Life, Health & Variable Annuity Insurance.

Richard is a graduate of Drury University, Springfield, Missouri and has received the following awards and professional designations: Xerox Exceptional Sales Performance, Management by Objective, Investment Institute Portfolio Management and Omega Portfolio Management. Rich is a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and Board Member of the Halifax River Yacht Club.

Donna began her investment career in 1982. Formerly Vice President & Managing Director of Private Capital Management for First Union National Bank (FU) in Daytona Beach, FL. Prior to joining FU, Donna was a Vice President & Partner/Investor with The Witan Company, LLC; Vice President & Trust Administrator for Mercantile Bank St. Louis; Assistant Vice President of MBank of Corpus Christi and a Financial Advisor with Eppler, Guerin & Turner.

Donna is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor, and Certified IRA Services Professional. She is registered through VSR Financial Services, Inc., a registered broker/dealer, Member NASD/SIPC. She has the following securities licenses: Series 7 & 63 licenses. She holds a BBA & MS degree from Baylor University, Waco, Texas and is a graduate of National Graduate Trust School and National Trust School, Northwestern University. Donna is on the following community boards: DBCC Foundation, Halifax Hospital Foundation, Easter Seals Foundation, and is a member of the Daytona Executive Women's Council, Tiger Bay, Women's Network of Volusia County and Volusia County Trust & Estate Council.
